 Just in time for the Love Lion Studio website launch, our first blog post has hit the web with an introduction to the story of how Love Lion Studio came to be! Thanks to the amazing networking opportunities of the internet and the entrepreneurial spirit of a few creative souls, our new studio was formed. January 1st, 2012 marks the launch of our online presence and the rest is history…
Once upon a time, two graphic designers bumped into one another on the internet. This was not such a coincidence – graphic designers stumble upon each other’s work online all the time. But both were surprised to find that their real life homes were surprisingly close. Both had been solo freelancing for awhile, and both had thrown around the idea of a team that would help them to grow as designers. A discussion turned into a full blown business plan and from then on there was no turning back.
The concept for the Love Lion brand belongs to Lead Developer and Creative Director Steven Deeds. He was searching for an image that would symbolize the strength and stability he envisioned for his business. He saw a strong business which handled its client’s projects with confidence and produced quality designs that clients could be proud of. The lion was a natural selection. To convey a sense of passion and care in handling projects, a classic heart was added. The Love Lion Studio logo was born.
Sharing Steven’s passion and inspiration is Rikki Rogers, an enthusiastic graphic designer who cannot wait to see what 2012 holds for Love Lion Studio. With a loyal bunch of clients from her previous freelancing and a bright vision for what their new business will be, the new year is sure to be an adventure. Able to pursue her dream career with help from her savvy new friends, Rikki is on cloud 9.
Programmer Brandon Runyon is also a valuable addition to the team – his knowledge and skill in building websites allow creative muscle flexing with fast, efficient browsing through clean and stable code. Truly the backbone of any great web design.
